APSR Congress Registration Conditions

ORGANISATION OF THE 29th CONGRESS OF THE ASIAN PACIFIC SOCIETY OF RESPIROLOGY

The Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (“APSR”) has appointed the Philippine College of Chest Physicians (“PCCP”) to host the 29th Congress of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (“APSR 2025”; the “Congress”). In line with this appointment, the APSR 2025 Manila Local Congress Committee (“APSR 2025 Manila LCC”) has been established within PCCP. The APSR 2025 Manila LCC is responsible for collecting fees for APSR 2025. All credit card charges will appear under the name “APSR 2025.” By registering for the Congress, delegates agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.

REGISTRATION FEE

All delegates must register for Congress via the online registration system. Registration fees for different categories of the Congress delegates are below: All prices quoted are in USD.
Delegates with PCCP membership enjoy discounts on Congress ticket registration.

Registration will only be processed when the relevant registration fee is received. There will be limited places for the pre-congress workshops. Please register earlier as places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.

REGISTRATION FEE FOR DELEGATES INCLUDES:

  • Attendance to all sessions from 14 to 16 November 2025; separate fees will be charged for Post Graduate courses / workshops
  • Entrance to poster and exhibition area
  • Light refreshments during coffee breaks as indicated in the programme
  • Name badge and program book
  • Invitation to Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and Closing Ceremony

OPTIONAL FEE

Registering for the below optional event and sessions is available only for those who register for the Congress.

  • Workshops / Post Graduate Course

ACCOMPANYING PERSON

  • One full-paying delegate can register up to one accompanying person via the Congress registration system.
  • The accompanying person is limited to a spouse, partner, or child aged 19 and over.
  • Children aged 18 and under are not permited to enter the Congress venue.
  • The fee for an accompanying person does not include admission to the sessions. The accompanying person will be entitled to attend only:
    • Opening Ceremony
    • Welcome Reception
    • Closing Ceremony

REGISTRATION OF APSR MEMBERS 

  • APSR members rates are also available for:
    • APSR members
    • APSR members via en bloc societies
  • APSR Membership No. is a set of 10 digits (e.g.; 0000001234)
  • Active membership must be verified prior to registering for the congress. Expired or application-in-progress membership will be regarded as "having no APSR membership".
  • If wrongly registered for the congress as an APSR member, the registration may be cancelled without prior notice and the registration fee is not refunded, or a shortfall of non-APSR member rate may be charged.

* If non-member registrants do not have an APSR membership and wish to register for the Congress with the membership rate, it is strongly recommended to apply for the membership giving you ample time before the deadline indicated (e.g. Early Bird - 18 Aug 2025) as the membership application takes time.

  • Registration will only be valid when the PCCP receives full payment before the deadline indicated (e.g. Early Bird - 18 Aug 2025).
  • The APSR reserves the right to cancel the registration or charge a higher rate than the selected registration category (e.g. Standard rate will be charged for Early Bird registrations or Onsite rate) on those who have not paid the full anount by the deadline indicated. (e.g. Early Bird – 18 Aug 2025).
  • An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees.
  • A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required if registration payment was not credited to PCCP UnionBank account on time.

APSR CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

  • Cancellation of the registration and refund of the registration fee are possible. Refund requests must meet the following criteria to be processed:
    • Deadline for refund request: 12 October 2025 (23:59 pm PST / UTC+8)
    • Notification of cancellation must be made by email to the APSR 2025 Manila LCC no later than the deadline indicated: apsr2025@philchest.org.ph
    • An administrative fee equivalent to 25% of the total amount paid will be deducted from the amount to be reimbursed.
    • If bank charges apply, they will be deducted from the refunded amount.
  • No refunds will be made for the request of the cancellations received after the deadline indicated.
  • Should a delegate not attend the congress, for whatever reason, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.
  • All registrations are strictly personal : replacements or name changes are not possible.
  • If the wrong fee has been selected during the registration process, no reimbursement can apply.

MODIFICATION OF THE PROGRAMME

  • The APSR reserves the right to modify the APSR 2025 Congress programme at any time, which is published as an indication only and subject to change.
  • No fees will be waived, nor will there be any right to further claims, should the APSR be required to alter the program of the APSR 2025 Congress.

DISCLAIMER

  • Neither the APSR nor PCCP is responsible for any bodily or material damage (including theft) sustained by delegates or their accompanying family members during the APSR Congress or in relation to it, unless caused directly by the fault of the APSR.
  • Each delegate is responsible for securing their own travel / medical insurance for such events.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance to cover the loss incurred in case of cancellation (registration fees, travel, accommodation, and other costs), medical expenses and damage to or loss of personal effects.

CODE OF CONDUCT

  • As a delegate at the APSR 2025, it is expected that the delegates conduct themselves professionally and refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or retaliation.
  • Delegates are required to treat all delegates with respect and consideration to create a safe, inclusive, and professional environment throughout the duration of the Congress.
  • The APSR reserves the right to take action if this code is breached. This may result in immediate removal from the Congress venue or platform without refund and a ban from attending future events.

SOCIAL MEDIA

The APSR invites the delegates to use the APSR Congress official hashtag #APSR2025 when the delegates share the news of the Congress. The following posts are not allowed:

- Face photos of someone without permission
- Photos of presentation slides and the contents of the poster presentations

The APSR reserves the right to request modify or delete the posts at any time, which are found defamatory or inappropriate.

GOVERNING LAW

These Conditions and any related disputes shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan, where the APSR secretariat is located, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The parties herein shall seek to settle any dispute, controversy or claim relating to the Conditions herein through good faith negotiation. In the event the Parties fail to resolve such dispute through good faith negotiation within (30) days after one party notifies the other party of any dispute in writing, the parties may settle such dispute through arbitration.

All disputes, controversies or differences arising out of or in connection with the APSR Congress Registration Conditions shall be finally settled by arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of The Japan Commercial Arbitration Association. The place of the arbitration shall be Tokyo, Japan.
